Introduction of the charitable premiere of "Almanac of Bulgarian Fashion 2008" : written and compiled by Prof. Dr. Lubomir Stoykov. The premiere and fashion show was under the patronage of the first lady Mrs. Zorka Parvanova -- 19.12.2007 -- Sofia, Bulgaria. ARISTOCRATIC SPLENDOR AND TENDER ELEGANCE Zdravka Kirilova * Brilliant collection of "My lady" and "Pronovias", Maria Nedkova and "Miro", "Kwiat" and "Triumph", students of the National Academy of Art, "Bipone" (Vienna) and Alya Milusheva - "Astella Atelier". On the Eve of the Christmas and New Year's holidays was holding the charitable premiere of "Almanac of Bulgarian Fashion 2008" under the respect patronage of the first lady Mrs. Zorka Parvanova. Author and compiler of the almanac is prof. Lubomir Stoykov, chairman of the Academy for Fashion. The event was hold at "House 2" of Boyana Residence and like an annual tradition it was with a charitable character. The first three almanacs were sold out at a preliminary auction with bidding - officially numerated and signed by the author copies of the book. The premiere was accompanied with a splendor review-show in which a lot of Bulgarian designers and fashion houses took part with theirs newest collections. "Bridal Fashion" boutique presented the Spain fashion giant "Pronovias". The cloths of this brand are favorite of a lot of world celebrities. Main designer is the creative Manuel Mota who is known as the stylist of the Spanish aristocracy. Established names of the world fashion like Elie Saab and Valentino also work for "Pronovias" collection. The dresses are splendor but with deliberate chic and sex-appeal. The retro shades exhale from the brilliant fine laces often cotton or silk, which make the line aristocratic but at the same time innocent and youth charming. "My lady" is for first time on the East-European market. The Israeli fashion house offers a collection of wedding and official corsets, skirts and dresses. In the world production the brand is using the oldest French technique for making corsets, combined with the most fashion current technology as special bending of metal bulks and the thermal treatment of the patterns. The Italian laces, "Swarovski" crystal and pearls are made by special order of the fashion house. The use of method: "combine and mix" gives to every woman the chance to combine in a personal desire busk and skirt so she can have a unique outlook. The collection of fashion house "Miro", winner of the "Golden Needle" award of the Academy for Fashion, is directed to the romantic lady, who is trying to keep her style and expression even in the everyday life. Business cloths are diversified by original details. Romantic flounces and original drapes on the materials are a fresh accent in the business cloth. Miro's offers for the holiday night are mini-dresses and high-waist. The colors are purple, graphite grey, white and black. The Bulgarian brand for glasses "Kwiat" showed that it has three main accents, which will strongly impress next year: transparent plastic materials, the combination of black or white with golden and also the extravagant details and colors -- lila, orange or red. The offers of "Kwiat" and "Kwiat Exclusive" stay in front of the world trends with their strong and really for long presence of stones, crystal or ornaments on the frames and the gradating semi- transparent mirror glasses.
